Description Conduct thorough evaluations for a varied demographic, including pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients, utilizing standardized assessments and observational methods. Create tailored treatment plans focusing on immediate goals as well as long-term communication, cognitive, or swallowing challenges. Deliver personalized speech therapy sessions that emphasize language, voice, fluency, and swallowing skills. Engage in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams, including physical and occupational therapists, nurses, doctors and family members, to ensure a unified care approach. Provide education to patients and families to facilitate progress beyond clinical interactions. Participate in occasional inpatient therapy assessments and treatments to ensure comprehensive continuity of care. Maintain thorough and timely documentation in alignment with both organizational and regulatory guidelines. Commit to professional development through ongoing education and collaborative learning experiences. Education
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution. Successful completion of a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not yet ASHA-accredited. Certifications
State licensure as a
Speech Language Pathologist . Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA. Required: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire. Skills
