Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Audio Programming Specialist to join our team. As the Audio Programming Specialist you will be responsible for the creation of conceptual content curation strategies, contemplating targeted audiences, consumer habits, and overall global/regional audio content trends. Design concepts aligned with the Airline markets and global brand strategy. Sort and select audio programming (music, podcasts, audiobooks) for different IFE systems. Putting and maintaining licensing agreements in place with the necessary labels, publishers and CMOs.

Responsibilities

  • Provide access to the best choice of music.
  • Ensure licensed use across all onboard service models.
  • Support the delivery of music content to an airline in a fully rights compliant way.
  • Industry standard license fees values and administration.
  • Interact and negotiate with music rights owners.
  • Negotiate custom creation of not only Boarding Music but also soundtracks for promo videos.
  • Create conceptual content curation strategies contemplating targeted audiences, consumer habits and overall global/regional content trends.
  • Design content concepts aligned with the Airline markets and global business strategy.
  • Understand airlines' passenger profiles to properly tailor an assertive content strategy.
  • Sort and select audio content (music, podcasts) for different systems and work with operations and airline client teams to ensure content is prepared and delivered as required and to timelines.
  • Data analytics to gain insight into usage of music in IFE - trends, consumption - targeted to labels and airlines and Touch business.
  • Seek innovative opportunities that bring value and differentiation to the Airline’s Inflight Entertainment platforms.
  • Maintain relationship with labels (and local offices) to ensure access to best music choices and new content and specials.
  • Curate use of music in airline promos, other audio and a/v deliverables.
  • Music usage reporting data to labels, publishers, CMOs as required. Financial Reports, such as PRO payments, royalty statements, etc.

About you

  • Fluent in English and Polish.
  • Music industry and or Data management and Analytics background, with experience in marketing and communications a plus.
  • Proven track record of successful music curation (genres, media types etc).
  • Industry knowledge of music rights, licensing and administration requirements.
  • Strong communication and influencing skills.
  • Good capability to work under own initiative and be part of a team.
  • Good organizational, time management and problem solving skills, with ability to juggle multiple projects and deadlines at one time.
  • Comfortable with internal and external presentations.
  • Airline / Entertainment industry experience is a plus.
  • Customer service experience is a plus.
  • Availability for occasional travel as required by the position.
