The Warehouse Team Lead is responsible for developing and leading the Inventory Control and Quality Control teams by setting and maintaining standards that are driven by the company and customer expectations. The Floor Lead will perform a full range of activities that support inventory accuracy and integrity starting with equipment arrival and leading up to event gear returns.

Responsibilities

• Train and monitor staff in standard operating procedures (SOP’s) and safe work practices.
• Lead weekly activities of the floor and transportation disciplines.
• Manage inventory accuracy and oversee the cycle count and physical inventory process.
• Provide leadership by establishing clear expectations and demonstrating high standards of work practices and safety behaviors.
• Provide coaching, counseling, and positive reinforcement to direct and indirect reports.
• Effectively communicate with drivers, rental customers, clients, and company personnel.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, DOT, and health & safety regulations in accordance with policy.
• Oversee warehouse sanitation practices to ensure compliance with company guidelines.
• Plan and coordinate labor to ensure that schedules are met, and financial goals are obtained.
• Arrange for preventive maintenance (PM’s) on forklifts, trucks, and other warehouse equipment.
• Monitor productivity and performance of all operations associates.
• Assist in quality control efforts related to equipment outgoing and incoming.
• Operate forklift, straight truck, and/or other equipment used in operations.
• Coordinate and assist in deliveries and pickups with outside vendors, clients, and venues.
• Assist other team members when necessary, loading/unloading trucks and fulfilling orders.
• As needed, when not working on a show or show preparation, employees may be asked to perform work in the warehouse, corporate office, and/or Center.
