Description
The School of Communication and Journalism seeks part‑time, non‑tenure track lecturers to teach in our Department of Communication.
These appointments involve teaching undergraduate and/or graduate level communication courses, ranging from introductory courses such as Introduction to Communication and Intercultural Communication, to advanced courses covering communication theory and research methods.
Positions begin in the Spring 2026 semester (January 26, 2026) and are one‑semester appointments with the potential for renewal. Candidates may be assigned to one or more courses based on their expertise and departmental needs.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications: Master’s degree (foreign equivalent or higher) in communication or mass communication. Minimum of one year of experience teaching communication courses at the college level.
Preferred Qualifications: PhD (or foreign equivalent) in communication or mass communication; five years of teaching communication courses at the college level; experience teaching communication theory and/or methods courses; experience teaching at the graduate level.
