Job Summary
Candidate will be responsible for concept, design and production of motion graphic elements for LED features, video content and scoreboard related content for the Florida Panthers and Amerant Bank Arena events. Daily tasks will include creating graphic content for a variety of platforms such as social media, mobile, digital, brand campaigns, merchandise, in-game and more.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Concept and motion graphic design elements and animations for videos, game presentation features, LED animations and other graphical elements as necessary for creative distribution.
- Present concepts with storyboards, references, sample animations and/or graphic design sample work.
- Keep informed of current design trends and techniques, applying them to projects as appropriate.
- Assist in the execution of the in-game show for all Florida Panthers home games and other Amerant Bank Arena events as needed.
- Fact check, research and maintain art/video consistency for respective projects.
- Coordinate maintenance and service of any department related equipment as needed within the Amerant Bank Arena.
- Provide extensive experience in graphic design and intermediate video editing.
- Assist with production shoots, edits and in-game entertainment features.
- Perform other duties as applicable, including file management and organization of content across many platforms.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in communications and/or 4 years of experience in graphic design and animation.
- Solid knowledge of typography, layouts, graphic fundamentals.
- Minimum of 4 years’ experience in the sports entertainment field.
- Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and maintain self‑motivation.
- Adaptability to changing demands and the ability to implement feedback efficiently to meet project deadlines.
- Effective collaboration with team members and contribution to team goals.
- Detail‑oriented with strong organizational skills, capable of working in a fast‑paced environment.
- Proficient in Adobe After Effects, Cinema 4D Illustrator, Photoshop and associated plug‑ins.
- Intermediate editing skills with Adobe Premiere Pro and the Adobe Creative Suite.
- Hands‑on knowledge of video, HD display operations and integrated audio in a live sports entertainment environment.
- Flexible working hours, including nights, weekends and holidays when needed.
- Supply web links to completed work, demo reels or other content validating work experience.
- Strong portfolio showcasing current work.
