About the Job
We seek to hire an Associate Professor of Music History with research and teaching expertise in any area of historical musicology. Preference will be accorded to candidates whose expertise can complement that of current faculty.

Responsibilities
- Teach large general education courses in music history and musicology.
- Supervise graduate research and advise Ph.D. candidates.
- Conduct research and publish scholarly work in historical musicology.
- Contribute to departmental and university service activities.
Qualifications
- Ph.D. in Music History, Musicology, or Historical Musicology.
- Evidence of tenure at a comparable university.
- Strong record of scholarship in historical musicology or a complementary area.
- Experience teaching large general education classes.
- Experience supervising graduate research.
