Adjunct Professors of News Editing
Monmouth University – West Long Branch Campus, NJ
Part‑time, on‑site position. Classes are taught in person at the campus. The role is part of the Communication department’s upper‑level Journalism course designed to enhance copy‑editing techniques for news writing.

Responsibilities
- Teach 3‑6 credits per semester
- Develop and deliver course lectures, discussions, and assignments aligned with curriculum objectives
- Schedule weekly time outside of class for student meetings
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student engagement
- Design, administer, and grade projects and exams; provide timely feedback and guidance to support learning and development
Qualifications
- Master’s degree or higher in Communication or a closely related field
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
