Role Description
Vision Creative is seeking an ambitious live event producer with 5–10 years of experience in audiovisual and management of corporate conferences, meetings, and special events. This role is perfect for someone who is comfortable interfacing with clients daily while managing other team members and coordinating with outside contractors and vendors. This role offers significant opportunity to develop as a leader in event production. You will be learning alongside seasoned event professionals. The ideal candidate is comfortable with client management and knowledgeable of the various technical aspects of corporate show production. Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to manage schedules with multiple moving parts are key for succeeding in this role. Candidates must be based in Virginia, Maryland, or the D.C. area.

Responsibilities
- Plan and pre‑produce events to ensure smooth and efficient productions.
- Coordinate logistics and hire subcontractors.
- Manage and/or directly set up and strike corporate events.
- Interface directly with clients at meetings and onsite.
- Operate video equipment, cameras, sound equipment and otherwise know your way around audiovisual technology at events.
- Execute flawless events with particular emphasis on service to our clients.
- Seek opportunities to continuously improve what we do.
- Assist in RFP responses and production diagrams.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organization and project management skills.
- Polished, professional presence when interfacing with clients, vendors, and contractors.

- Video production and post‑production (editing and graphics).
- Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat).
- Should have a strong command of technology.
Experience
- 5–10 years’ experience in audiovisual and live event management for corporate conferences, meetings, and special events.
- Regular interactions with clients throughout the event lifecycle.
- Proven hands‑on experience in at least one of the following disciplines: video, sound, lighting.
- Understands the fast‑paced nature of the events business and that long hours are part of the job.
- Valid driver’s license and legal presence to work in the United States.
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
