Audio Visual Technician – Saint George Regional Hospital Intermountain Health Base Pay Range $18.00/hr – $27.00/hr (actual hourly rate dependent upon experience) Location & Schedule Onsite at Saint George Regional Hospital and associated campus buildings, St. George, UT. Shift: Monday–Friday, 6:30 AM–3:00 PM, with occasional evening and weekend work as requested. Scheduled weekly hours: 40 Senior‑Level & Employment Type Seniority Level: Entry level Employment Type: Full‑time Job Function: Design, Art/Creative, and Information Technology; Industries: Hospitals and Health Care Responsibilities Provide A/V equipment and troubleshooting support in conference rooms, auditoriums, and designated areas. Schedule and maintain appearance of education rooms, including cleaning and securing spaces when not in use. Arrange chairs, tables, and equipment for events and functions and provide basic cleanup. Assist with overnight cleaning, setups, and maintenance in coordination with EVS and facilities teams. Skills Audiovisual Equipment Customer Service Computer Literacy Technical Support Equipment Maintenance Troubleshooting Communication Teamwork Qualifications Minimum one year experience with modern A/V equipment and video conferencing systems, including basic troubleshooting. Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 and internet applications. Strong organizational and detail‑oriented skills; ability to manage schedules and maintain a clean environment. Good communication skills to assist users at varying technical levels. Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as necessary. Preferred Qualifications Strong customer service skills. Maintenance and troubleshooting of integrated AV systems such as Crestron and Logitech Teams. Technical expertise and adaptability to manage evolving AV technologies. Physical Requirements Ability to see and read information, identify equipment and supplies, and assess customer needs. Frequent customer interactions requiring clear communication. Manual dexterity for manipulating complex equipment, computers, phones, and cables. Capability to lift, transport, and lift equipment of varying weights, up to and including heavy items; work on hands and knees and bend for setups.
