DESCRIPTION: We're seeking an innovative and experienced Creative Director to lead our Online Grocery creative team, driving digital-first creative solutions through automation, AI integration, and operational excellence. This role will shape the future of how we communicate with customers across Amazon's grocery ecosystem.

Key job responsibilities Lead and mentor a team of writers and designers, fostering a culture of innovation and creative excellence • Pioneer the development and implementation of GenAI and automated creative solutions to scale creative operations • Establish and optimize creative review mechanisms and workflows across Amazon NA and Whole Foods teams • Drive standardization and templatization of creative assets while maintaining brand quality • Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver cohesive creative strategies that drive business results • Identify and implement efficiency opportunities through tooling and automation • Own the end-to-end creative process, from conceptualization to execution and measurement • Lead testing and iteration of creative approaches to optimize performance

A day in the life Overseeing creative reviews Developing creative concepts to solve business problems Leading/coaching team members Building processes Finding efficiencies through GenAi and tooling BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: - Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience - 8+ years of driving compelling creative strategy and execution at an agency or in-house creative team experience - 5+ years of team management experience - Have an available online portfolio PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: - Experience effectively communicating complex concepts through written and verbal communication - Strong people management and coaching skills to drive the continuous evolution of creative processes. - Demonstrated business acumen and customer-centricity

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $139,600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $230,700/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
