SAVP, Client Partner - Telecommunications

EXL is hiring a Senior Assistant Vice President, Client Partner for Telecommunications to lead growth, relationship development, and strategic account expansion for one of our highest-priority US-based Telecommunications clients. This senior leadership role will be responsible for building client relationships, navigating complex organizational structures, identifying new business opportunities, and driving pipeline creation across Analytics, AI, Digital Transformation, and Marketing Services. The ideal candidate is a seasoned Telco executive or consulting leader who has closely worked with large US cable and telecommunications organizations and has deep understanding of their operational and organizational landscape. This role combines strategic account leadership with hands‑on execution and collaboration across EXL’s global teams. Strategic Relationship Management

Build, expand, and nurture senior‑level relationships across multiple client functions Serve as trusted advisor to client executives by understanding their priorities, challenges and strategic roadmap Navigate complex client environments to expand access and connect EXL to key decision‑makers Account Growth and Pipeline Creation

Own and execute the growth strategy for the account across Analytics, AI, Digital Transformation, and Marketing services Drive pipeline generation by securing new executive introductions and shaping strategic proposals Manage core account KPIs including stakeholder penetration, qualified pipeline creation, and revenue outcomes Collaborate with cross‑functional internal teams to design and deliver relevant client solutions Thought Leadership and Strategic Advisory

Bring industry insights, trends, and transformation perspectives to guide client strategies and influence priorities Lead workshops and advisory sessions focused on AI‑adoption, digital transformation, customer experience and operational optimization Qualifications

10+ years in the U.S. Telecommunications or Cable industry, or in a consulting/analytics firm serving large Telco clients Deep understanding of Telco business models, customer lifecycle operations, digital transformation, and data/AI‑driven strategies Established network and relationships with senior leaders within major U.S. Telco organizations Demonstrated ability to lead and manage cross‑functional teams Seniority level
