As a Social Media Content Creator, you’ll produce engaging, high‑performing content that showcases our lifestyle and product offerings, film behind‑the‑scenes moments, create day‑in‑the‑life videos, and make short‑form content that both inspires and sells—whether for organic engagement, TikTok Shop, or paid ads. This is a fast‑moving, highly creative role for someone who’s equal parts creator, storyteller, and strategist.

Key Responsibilities

Serve as a visible on‑camera presence across Alabaster's TikTok and Instagram.

Film and produce short‑form content (Reels/TikToks) focused on:

Day in the life at Alabaster.

Behind the scenes with our team.

Lifestyle content featuring our books.

Product‑focused videos that educate, entertain, and sell.

Create content that drives engagement and performance, optimised for TikTok Shop, Meta ads, and other growth channels.

Brainstorm and execute creative concepts tied to seasonal campaigns, launches, or current trends.

Write short‑form scripts and captions with strong hooks, clear value, and product messaging.

Analyse content performance to improve future videos—using data to guide creative decisions.

Collaborate with branding, performance, and affiliate teams to create cohesive campaigns and briefs.

Requirements

Strong on‑camera presence: confident, warm, natural, and engaging.

Skilled content producer: shoots, edits, and posts engaging short‑form content end‑to‑end with an iPhone and instincts.

Product & lifestyle storyteller: positions a product organically while making it feel personal, aspirational, and relevant.

Experienced creator—understands how to create content that converts, not just for likes but for sales.

Trend‑aware & culture‑savvy: plugged into TikTok/IG trends and knows what stops scrolling.

Collaborative teammate: loves brainstorming ideas, sharing what works, and involving others in the creative process.

Portfolio of TikToks/Reels, especially product/lifestyle content.

Basic understanding of TikTok Shop, affiliate content, and paid creative strategy.

Comfortable with data—uses engagement and conversion metrics to improve next pieces.

Bonus: experience in e‑commerce, publishing, or Christian content.
