Role Overview Elevate is seeking a Digital Marketing Coordinator to lead daily operations for ticketed sports at UCLA. This individual will be fundamental in sales enablement and prospect growth, monitoring KPIs, analyzing sales data, and identifying trends to inform strategic decisions. The core responsibilities include all efforts related to digital marketing: email management, strategy, data collection, digital advertising, innovative partnerships, and attendance‑driving tactics to generate revenue and sell tickets. The Coordinator will work closely with the Elevate BI team and will be an analytical team player with strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

Digital Marketing & Advertising

Plan, implement, and optimize digital marketing campaigns across email, paid social, display, search, and video to amplify awareness and conversion.

Manage and update marketing‑related web content, including ticketing pages on UCLABruins.com.

Implement a comprehensive digital marketing and branding strategy for UCLA Athletics focused on revenue generation through increased attendance, ticket sales, donations, and ancillary income.

Create and moderate a lead generation program that encompasses online sweepstakes, website forms, and onsite data collection; organize and load contact data into the CRM system for sales initiatives.

Oversee email marketing efforts, including creative production, segmentation, analytics review, and scheduling.

Identify, analyze, recommend, and implement long‑range goals and strategies related to marketing, sales, and advertising.

Maintain regular communication with team staff and affiliated departmental staff to formulate cross‑functional advertising and branding plans, collaborating with Marketing and Creative Content teams.

Monitor and manage marketing budgets for assigned projects, ensuring alignment with department priorities.

Email Marketing

Develop, create, and distribute strategic email communications, including the weekly "This Week in Athletics" newsletter, monthly ticket holder updates, and targeted promotional campaigns.

Maintain departmental email calendar in coordination with creative content distribution and external messaging.

Monitor and report on email campaign performance, providing data‑driven insights and recommendations to enhance future communications and automation strategies.

Manage automated email workflows, executing campaigns through the marketing ESP and collaborating with internal stakeholders to refine messaging.

Facilitate partner emails and advertising inclusion in accordance with established agreements such as JMIS, the Rose Bowl, Big Ten Conference, and campus entities.

Market Research

Analyze previous sales data, demographic audience and consumer behavior to provide innovative initiatives that generate revenue from industry trends.

Assist marketing staff with creating and presenting research reports, projected revenue reports, and year‑end reviews.

Qualifications

Education and Experience Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.

Preferred: minimum 2 years of work experience in digital marketing or e‑commerce.

Experience with marketing and digital commerce platforms such as Eloqua.

Understanding of NCAA and Big Ten Conference bylaws is a plus.

Familiarity with CRM systems and processes is a plus.

Computer proficiency in Salesforce, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, HTML, and Adobe Photoshop.

Working Conditions

Working Environment: Primarily office setting; attendance at athletic events and department events as scheduled.

Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 20 pounds.

Travel Requirements: Limited travel on rare occasions.

Position and Benefits

Anticipated Salary $60,000 plus commission/bonus structure.

Full Time, Non‑Exempt.

We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. This range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in Los Angeles, CA.
