Video Production Coordinator
Garver Communications Team is a group of strategic thinkers and creative doers focused on telling the story we live out every workday. The Video Production Coordinator will support the Communications Team by managing logistics, scheduling, and administrative tasks required for successful video production.
Responsibilities
Schedule and organize video shoots, including booking locations, talent, and equipment.
Maintain production calendars and ensure deadlines are met, including maintaining projects and tasks in our project management software.
Work closely with Client Service Project Manager to gather creative direction and project requirements.
Support the Senior Videographer and Photographer by preparing call sheets and shot lists.
Source props, wardrobe, and other production materials, ensuring every item makes it on set and communicating with stakeholders when not there.
Support the production team during shoots (e.g., handling releases, managing schedule).
Help ensure compliance with safety and brand guidelines.
Track editing progress and coordinate feedback between editors and stakeholders.
Organize and archive video assets for future use in Vimeo and on the video server.
Manage production budgets, expense tracking, and payments to external vendors and freelancers.
Qualifications
Excellent communication and problem‑solving abilities.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Keen attention to detail and a proactive mindset.
Comfort with fast‑paced environments and problem‑solving on the fly.
Bonus points for experience with Asana or similar project management tools.
