About the Role Our client, a respected architectural and interiors firm in Houston, is seeking an Architectural Interior Designer to join their growing team. This full time, permanent role offers the opportunity to work across a broad range of project types while contributing to high quality interior environments that balance creativity, function, and technical accuracy. The position is ideal for a designer who enjoys collaborating with architects and engineers, shaping the user experience, and producing thoughtful, well coordinated design solutions.

Responsibilities
Develop interior design concepts, space plans, and finish palettes for a variety of project types
Produce detailed interior drawings, elevations, and technical documentation
Select materials, finishes, fixtures, and furniture that align with project goals and aesthetics
Prepare presentations, design boards, and client facing visual materials
Collaborate closely with architects, engineers, and consultants to maintain design coordination and constructability
Participate in site visits, field verification, and construction phase reviews
Work in Revit and AutoCAD to produce accurate, coordinated design documents
Ensure designs meet project requirements, building codes, and interior standards
Qualifications
Experience in architectural interior design within an architecture or design firm
NCIDQ certification preferred or active progress toward NCIDQ
Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD required
Strong understanding of interior programming, space planning, and finish selection
Ability to translate conceptual design into organized, buildable documentation
Strong communication skills and comfort collaborating within multidisciplinary teams
Creative mindset with strong attention to detail and design quality
