Current Needs Include Cello Instructor
Responsibilities The person will teach private lessons, as needed, with the possibility of teaching music courses to music majors and/or non‑music majors depending on experience. He or she may play their instrument and/or prepare students to perform for additional departmental needs as they arise (ensemble concerts, faculty recitals, commencement, other campus events).
Qualifications This person must demonstrate teaching and performance skills on their instrument(s). Band, Orchestral, and/or Jazz ensemble experience is required. A Bachelor’s degree in the field of music is required; a Master’s degree is preferred.
