Role Description This is a full-time on-site role located in Peoria, IL, for a Multimedia Journalist. The Multimedia Journalist will generate, gather, and develop news stories for broadcast, digital platforms, and social media. The responsibilities include creating original content, conducting interviews, writing compelling scripts, shooting and editing video, and reporting on-location or in-studio. This role requires collaboration with producers and team members to deliver engaging and accurate news coverage to local audiences while meeting tight deadlines. Qualifications Experience in Broadcast Journalism, Multimedia, and Broadcast Television Proficiency in writing and producing news content that is engaging and accurate Skills in broadcasting, including reporting, live on-camera presence, and delivering news stories professionally Ability to shoot and edit video content using modern broadcast equipment and software Strong organizational and time management skills Familiarity with digital platforms and social media for effective content sharing Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communications, or a related field preferred Previous experience in a newsroom or equivalent environment is a plus Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with the team and interact with the community Seniority level Entry level Employment type Full-time Job function Marketing, Public Relations, and Writing/Editing Industries Broadcast Media Production and Distribution #J-18808-Ljbffr
