AV (Audio Visual) Installation Specialist with Security Clearance

CoSolutions is currently hiring AV Installation Specialists in Omaha, NE to support the US Strategic Command Center. The position requires on‑site installation of audiovisual systems for strategic deterrence and joint force operations. This is a 100% on‑site role with no remote work due to the sensitive nature of the program.

Responsibilities

  • Perform on-site installation of low voltage wiring, equipment rack setup, projectors, monitor/LCD, audio hardware, control systems, and AV automation in client facilities.
  • Pull cable paths, terminate audio and video cables, and assemble mounts and support structures.
  • Read and interpret AV system drawings, schematics, and construction plans.
  • Assist with programming and troubleshooting of classroom/boardroom AV automation/control systems and video conferencing systems.
  • Install displays, screens, and projectors with structural support and cabling.
  • Maintain professional work appearance and provide excellent customer service.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in a related field is preferred.
  • Clearance: TS/SCI required. CTS, CTS‑D, CTS‑I, or BICSI certifications preferred.
  • Ability to pursue and obtain AV‑related certifications.
  • Experience with low voltage cabling, AV system installation, and network topology.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to read schematics.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Detail‑oriented, organized, and capable of multi‑tasking.
  • Professional demeanor and strong work ethic.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds for the duration of the job.
  • Comfortable working on ladders, lifts, and in confined spaces.
