Broadcast/Digital Assistant Director of Engineering (ADE)

KTSF is seeking a full‑time, 40‑hour a week, on‑site, Broadcast/Digital Assistant Director of Engineering. The ideal candidate oversees the Engineering Department serving KTSF/Lincoln Asian Media and is responsible for three major functional areas:

  • Broadcast and digital operations/maintenance – MC, TOC, off‑site
  • IT infrastructure – broadcast, digital, office, electronic communications, cybersecurity
  • Building infrastructure and property – structural and parking lots, landscape, HVAC, electrical and power generator, plumbing, emergency fire prevention, burglar alarms, backflow

Start date: January 5, 2026. Salary range: $100,000 to $110,000 a year. In addition to medical, dental and vision coverage, KTSF offers disability and life insurance, chiropractic & acupuncture care, flex and 401(k) plans.

Job Summary:

  • Under the guidance of the Director of Engineering (DE), the ADE primarily serves as the IT Administrator for KTSF/LAM aside from assisting the DE on the other abovementioned functions.
  • Serves as the IT Administrator for all IT infrastructure of KTSF/LAM.
  • Supervises the IT Technician/Engr on daily tasks and others on projects.
  • Assists the DE in planning, budgeting and control of IT infrastructure.
  • Assists the DE in all broadcast and digital functions of the Engineering Dept.
  • Serves as Alternate Engineering representative for all meetings in the absence of the DE.
  • Responsible for observing all government regulations pertaining to the IT infrastructure (CYBER SAFETY) in particular and other areas in general.
  • Performs other tasks as assigned by the DE.
