WXAV Deputy Music Director - Student Employment

The Deputy Music Director works with the music director and WXAV music committee to develop a monthly A-List and specialty music A-List, listens to all new music to check lyrics and edit for compliance with FCC and WXAV rules and regulations.

  • Assists with events, promotions, and giveaways and compiles the weekly NACC charts.
  • Assists in maintaining both the physical and digital library and arranges interviews and concerts tickets to hard rock and hip-hop acts.
  • Evaluates various student broadcasts with other members of management to ensure FCC rules and regulations are met, and offers feedback on the DJ’s program.
  • Assists in planning and promoting promotional events. Is also a member of the Student Media Street Team.
MUST BE A STUDENT AT SAINT XAVIER UNIVERSITY Must be Federal Work Study Eligible Must Include a Resume and Cover Letter
  • Background in Communication preferred.
