Little Diversified Architectural Consulting is seeking a Studio Principal focused on community projects across Southern California. The role emphasizes client engagement, leadership, and business development while delivering high-quality design solutions in educational, recreational, civic, and other public spaces.
Primary Responsibilities
- Design expertise & execution: lead the design and construction of community-based buildings, ensuring quality and performance.
- Business development: initiate and grow new opportunities, target clients, and secure new work.
- Client satisfaction: build trust and loyalty through subject‑matter expertise and service.
- Financial responsibility: maintain studio profitability and manage cost impacts.
- Leadership & team building: mentor staff, communicate clearly, and foster collaboration across offices.
- Thought leadership: champion public spaces, emerging trends, and technological innovations.
- Commitment to regenerative outcomes: apply a whole‑systems approach to design that benefits environmental, economic, and social factors.
Qualifications
• Registered architect with relevant experience in community project design.
• Proven ability to lead teams and manage project delivery.
• Strong communication, client relations, and business development skills.
Salary
Anticipated salary range: $150,000 - $195,000 (based on experience).
