About N H D M

N H D M is a New York-based practice for design and research operating at the intersection of architecture and urbanism, founded by partners Nahyun Hwang and David Eugin Moon. Our work spans cultural/institutional, dwelling, community and public space projects, as well as urban landscapes and territorial‑scale design and research. Studio Manager and Development Associate (Part‑time)

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive studio manager to support our dynamic, award‑winning practice. The role blends administrative and operational support with development and communication activities, and may be combined with research or publication responsibilities as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Managing day‑to‑day office operations, scheduling, and communications
  • Providing administrative support to partners and design staff
  • Overseeing office space and supplies
  • Handling basic bookkeeping tasks
  • Engaging in development activities: researching and reviewing development opportunities, and preparing proposals
  • Managing the studio’s internal and public communications

Qualifications

  • Familiarity or strong interest in architecture, design research, art, and cultural practices
  • Enthusiastic about contributing to the studio
  • Exceptionally detail‑oriented with excellent research, organizational, and communication skills
  • Responsible, resourceful, and capable of working independently and collaboratively
  • Proficient with Google/Microsoft Office suites; basic knowledge of InDesign, Adobe Creative Suite, etc. is desirable
