Job Description - Student Video Manager, Oklahoma Football (Spring) (252625) Job Number 252625 Organization Athletic Department Schedule Part-time Work Schedule: Variable – Monday‑Thursday approximately 2:00 pm‑6:00 pm, and occasional weekends. Summer and spring camp assignments based on availability. Work Type: Onsite Salary Range: Targeted salary $7.25 per hour, based on experience. Benefits Provided: No Required Attachments: Resume, Class Schedule Position Summary Student Video Managers assist with daily video operations for the Oklahoma Football team. Responsibilities include filming practices and games, setting up and maintaining equipment, and supporting the organization of instructional video content for the coaching staff. Training is provided. Essential Duties Operate video cameras at practices, workouts, and games Set up, maintain, and break down camera and A/V equipment Record assigned drills with consistent framing and focus Assist with organizing and uploading practice and game video Support basic A/V needs for team and position meetings Communicate effectively and work professionally in a team setting Follow department policies and procedures Perform additional duties as assigned Required Attachments Resume Class Schedule Job Requirements Required Education Must be currently enrolled in the Spring 2026 term as a student at the University of Oklahoma. Hiring contingent upon verification of current student status. Preferred Qualifications Interest in athletics, football operations, or media production Experience with cameras or audiovisual equipment Basic computer skills (PowerPoint, Word, email, file management) Experience in team‑based or fast‑paced environments Skills Applicants must be able to work independently or as part of a team and must be self‑driven. Student Managers must be able to take direction, complete assigned tasks and communicate clearly with the members of the Video Services management and members of the team. Advertised Physical Requirements Work outdoors in all weather conditions Climbing ladders and working at elevated positions Standing for extended periods Some lifting and moving of equipment up to approximately 30 pounds Work around loud environments during practices and games Work performed in‑person and on campus Shift Information Fall practices Monday–Thursday, approximately 2 PM to 6 PM Spring practices generally 2 PM to 6 PM on designated practice days Summer hours vary based on camps, workouts, and team needs Required to work all home football games Some travel to away games may be available Work may include evenings, weekends, and holidays such as Labor Day and Thanksgiving Winter break work possible during postseason events, including potential work on Christmas and New Year’s Day Spring–Fall rehire eligible based on performance Special Instructions If you are selected as a final candidate for this position, you will be subject to The University of Oklahoma Norman Campus Tuberculosis Testing policy.
