Job Summary:
Assist the faculty supervisor with art studio preparations, maintenance, and organization in the Drawing, Painting, and Paper Studios
Principal Responsibilities
- Assist the faculty supervisor in an effective and efficient manner - Assist faculty supervisor with studio prep duties, including but not limited to: - Operating the beater to make paper pulp, cleaning and organizing moulds and deckles, general studio cleaning, operating the hydraulic press, cleaning and organizing the prop storage room, general duties in maintenance of the drawing, painting, and papermaking studios. - Follow all department policies and procedures - Come to work as scheduled by the supervisor - Follow department/studio policies and procedures - Assist with miscellaneous studio projects as instructed - Other duties as assigned
Required Skills:
- Ability to work independently - Ability to lift 50 lbs - Professionalism - Ability to withstand messy/dirty work
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must be enrolled as an ONU student - Good academic standing
