Closing Date: Open Until Filled Becker School District is conveniently located off of US Hwy 10, just 20 minutes SE from St. Cloud and 45 minutes NW from the Twin Cities. The District consists of five buildings, all situated on a single, cohesive campus and serves approximately 2,800 students - Early Education Building, Primary School (K-2), Intermediate School (3-5), Middle School (6-8), and High School (9-12). Becker's mission is to develop self-directed learners to thrive in a changing global community.
Position Summary: Theater or directing experience is preferred. Reporting to the Middle School Director, the Assistant Director will help lead our middle school play program, guiding students through every step of the production; from casting and rehearsals to the final performance. This should be done while creating a supportive, fun, and educational environment. The Middle School Assistant Director will assist the Middle School Director in working with the Technical Director, PAC Coordinator, and/or the Community Education Department to coordinate all aspects of the production, including stage, lighting, sound, and facility needs, ensuring a smooth and successful show for our students and audience.
Daily practices would take place at the conclusion of our school day (2:55pm). Practice times will vary and will be set and communicated by the Director.
Salary: $3031.00
