Commercial Lines Account Manager - Producer Operations Team (Fully Remote) Insurance Office of America is hiring a Commercial Lines Account Manager to support the Producer Operations Team. You will provide account management support to new producers during their first 3‑6 months and offer temporary assistance to other account teams as needed.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain technical competence and industry expertise.

Direct the day‑to‑day activities of the account management team.

Handle customer service requests, policy administration, billing, claims, and coverage analysis.

Manage policy expirations and renewals.

Conduct client research, prepare submissions, negotiate coverages, and present proposals.

Monitor accounts receivable reports and take action on delinquent accounts to collect outstanding balances.

Maintain agency management systems and carrier/vendor platforms, ensuring data accuracy and completeness.

Monitor activity/suspense to guarantee timely completion.

Maintain frequent, transparent communication with the account team regarding workload status and issue resolution.

Deliver excellent service by proactively anticipating needs and responding quickly to service requests.

Stay updated on company policies and procedures for policy compliance.

Seek and adopt best practices to improve individual and team performance.

Demonstrate integrity and leadership to champion IOA values.

Ideal Candidate Qualifications

3+ years of account management experience, or 5+ years in the insurance industry.

Thorough knowledge of insurance brokerage and client needs.

Active property & casualty (P&C) licensing; professional designation (CIC or equivalent) preferred.

Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills.

Exceptional customer service, communication, multitasking, and organizational skills.

Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).

High School Diploma (or equivalent).

Salary Range The expected pay range for this position is $70,000 to $90,000 per year, depending on experience, relevant skills, and geographic location.
