Overview
The Senior Ad Operations Manager is responsible for trafficking, optimizing, and reporting on digital advertising campaigns across various platforms. This role ensures that all campaigns launch on time, deliver as expected, and meet performance goals. The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, exceptional attention to detail, and experience working with ad servers or programmatic platforms.
Key Responsibilities Campaign Trafficking & Setup
Build, QA, and launch digital ad campaigns across ad servers (e.g., Google Ad Manager, Campaign Manager 360), DSPs, or social platforms.
Implement tags, pixels, and tracking codes to ensure accurate measurement.
Test creatives (display, video, native, traditional, rich media) for functionality and compliance with technical specs.
Campaign Management & Optimization
Monitor campaign pacing and performance daily to ensure proper delivery.
Adjust targeting, bidding, and creative rotation to improve results.
Troubleshoot delivery issues such as low win rates, tag errors, or under-delivery.
Technical Support
Serve as the primary point of contact for internal teams regarding trafficking and technical setup.
Work with clients, vendors, and publishers to resolve ad-serving or measurement discrepancies.
Maintain documentation for trafficking processes, specs, and platform best practices.
Analytics & Reporting
Generate regular performance reports and dashboards for internal teams and clients.
Analyze trends and provide insights on campaign effectiveness.
Reconcile data between platforms and identify discrepancies.
Quality Assurance & Compliance
Perform QA across all campaigns before launch.
Maintain clean and organized data structures within ad platforms.
