Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Communications Coordinator to join our team and play a pivotal role in shaping our organization's voice, engaging with our community, and driving our communications strategy. In this key position, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing communications initiatives that enhance our visibility and reach.
Responsibilities
Develop and execute strategic communication plans that align with organizational goals.
Create engaging content for various channels including newsletters, blogs, social media, and press releases.
Manage and maintain social media accounts, ensuring timely and relevant updates.
Coordinate and support the planning and execution of events, including promotional materials and programming.
Monitor media coverage and help build relationships with journalists and media outlets.
Assist in the creation of promotional materials, including brochures, flyers, and multimedia presentations.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in communications, marketing, or public relations.
Exceptional writing and editing skills with a strong attention to detail.
Proficient in social media management and content creation.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and build relationships across departments.
