Essential Staffing Solutions (ESS) is currently seeking a polished and professional
Apartment Community Manager
for a Class A conventional property. This role requires a dependable, self‑motivated leader with a strong background in luxury residential management and a passion for excellence.
Base pay range:
$70,000.00/yr - $78,000.00/yr
Job Description The
Community Manager
is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Class A apartment community, ensuring top‑tier service, high occupancy rates, and a well‑maintained property. You will lead leasing and maintenance teams and serve as the primary point of contact for residents and ownership.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee leasing, maintenance, and resident services teams
Ensure the property is maintained to Class A standards
Collect rent and manage financial operations (budgeting, reporting, vendor payments)
Analyze occupancy trends, renewals, and market conditions
Execute marketing strategies to maintain full occupancy
Conduct property inspections and coordinate necessary improvements
Enforce lease agreements and community policies
Resolve resident issues and maintain positive community relations
Manage contracts for services such as landscaping, security, and cleaning
Ensure compliance with Fair Housing and landlord‑tenant laws
Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of experience managing Class A apartment communities
Experience with conventional (non‑affordable) housing portfolios
Proficiency in Yardi and/or OneSite property management systems
Strong leadership and team development skills
Excellent communication and conflict‑resolution abilities
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Ability to multitask, stay organized, and meet deadlines
Available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends as needed
Able to walk the property and climb stairs during tours and inspections
Knowledge of local rental laws and Fair Housing regulations
