Logistic Support - Expeditor
to join the Supply Chain Department of a Hastings, NE company. This company serves industries including manufacturing and agriculture, and this part-time role is ideal for individuals with strong organizational skills, customer service focus, and a background in logistics, dispatching, or forklift operations.
As a Logistic Support - Expeditor you will play a critical role in ensuring timely supplier communication, purchase order management, and KPI reporting. This position offers the opportunity to grow into a permanent staff role.
Responsibilities Run daily reports and issue open PO reports to suppliers Communicate directly with U.S. and international suppliers for expediting and status updates Issue RFQs to support Buyers as needed Maintain daily, weekly, and monthly KPI reports Purchase C-Class and MRO items to support Buyers Ensure compliance with company safety, integrity, and ethics policies Follow all Supply Chain procedures and guidelines Other duties as assigned Requirements
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field required 3-5 years of related experience in purchasing or logistics role preferred Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite required Basic data analysis skills required Ability to thrive in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment Strong customer service and communication skills Demonstrated urgency and responsiveness to business needs Why Join Us?
