Job Title: BIM DesignerJob Description

We are seeking a skilled BIM Designer to assist in producing technology construction drawings using Revit. The role involves modeling construction plans, details, smart schedules, and parametric Revit families at various levels of development (LOD 200-400).

Responsibilities

Produce and model construction drawings using Revit.

Design and model construction plans and details.

Develop smart schedules and parametric Revit families.

Support the design of physical security systems using Revit and BIM.

Work with low voltage designs and IT infrastructure.

Engage in construction documentation and modeling tasks.

Essential Skills

Proficiency in Revit.

Experience supporting low voltage design work.

Experience designing physical security systems in Revit.

Knowledge of BIM, AutoCAD, Navisworks, and construction documentation.

5-10 years of BIM experience, particularly in the technology space.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience working with low-voltage systems.

Experience designing/placing physical security systems within drawing sets.

Data center experience is highly preferred.

Work Environment

This is a fully remote opportunity, allowing you to work from anywhere without the need to be local to Chicago. You will connect remotely using Revit and Bluebeam systems, with all necessary equipment shipped directly to you. Our team is engaged in exciting data-center projects across the US, offering a dynamic and fast-paced work environment.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Woodridge, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $38.46 - $43.27/hr.
