Our client, a leading gaming studio, is seeking a Content Writer to join their team. As a Content Writer, you will be part of the Web Team supporting the development of engaging and creative content for various web platforms. The ideal candidate will have strong collaboration skills, a passion for writing, and a keen understanding of SEO, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Content Writer
Location: Remote (EST preferred)
Pay Range: $48 - $53 per hour
Duration: 9 months contract (highly likely to extend)
What's the Job?
- Write clear, concise, and engaging website content optimized for search engines.
- Collaborate with design and project management teams to create new web features.
- Manage the work pipeline for offshore team members, ensuring timely delivery of content.
- Conduct research on industry-related topics to maintain content accuracy and relevance.
- Edit and proofread website content to ensure it meets quality standards and aligns with the studio's tone of voice.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in content writing and editing for web publications, preferably in the gaming industry.
- Proven experience with Adobe Experience Manager or similar Content Management Systems.
- Strong collaboration skills with cross-functional teams.
- Portfolio showcasing previous writing samples, particularly in the gaming sector.
- Knowledge of SEO best practices and UX/UI writing principles.
