BluShues Inc. is a faith-based nonprofit organization dedicated to making Bibles accessible to everyone—especially the poor, underprivileged, and those seeking spiritual growth. We provide free, complete, printed Bibles to individuals and organizations worldwide. As our organization grows, we are seeking a Chief Editor to lead and elevate our editorial processes and ensure excellence across all written communications.
Position Overview
The Chief Editor will oversee all editorial activities, ensuring that every written material—digital or print—meets the highest standards of clarity, accuracy, and alignment with Christian values. This leadership role involves supervising content quality, guiding writers and editors, and maintaining consistency in messaging across the organization.
Responsibilities
- Oversee, edit, and proofread all major written content including reports, articles, newsletters, internal documents, social media posts, and campaigns.
- Ensure accuracy, clarity, quality, and grammatical excellence across all content produced.
- Maintain and enforce BluShues’ tone, editorial style, and Christian-based values in every publication.
- Provide constructive editorial feedback and mentorship to writers, editors, and content creators.
- Collaborate closely with the Communications Team to support campaigns, publications, and outreach materials.
- Manage editorial workflows, deadlines, and review cycles to ensure timely delivery of high-quality content.
- Uphold publishing standards and ensure content aligns with organizational goals and ministry focus.
About You
- Exceptional command of written English with advanced editing and proofreading skills.
- Strong leadership abilities, capable of guiding and developing an editorial team.
- Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple priorities.
- Deep respect for and alignment with faith-based, Christian missions.
- Background in journalism, communications, publishing, or editorial leadership is preferred, but not required.
