Position Overview
Adjunct Faculty members teaches Humanities courses for the Music, Theater and Dance Department. Courses may be taught in an array of teaching modalities: MDC In-Person, MDC Live (Learning Interactively in a Virtual Environment), MDC Online (online delivery) and Blended Classes.

- Teaches lecture and laboratory sections
- Evaluates and advises students
- Participates in departmental and College affairs
- Recruits students
- Serves on committees
- Develops Curricula
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Master's degree in discipline (humanities) or a Master's degree from a regionally accredited institution with a total of 18 graduate semester hours in at least three of the Humanities disciplines (Art, Dance, Literature, Music, Theatre, Philosophy, or Humanities).
- Must possess excellent communication skills
- Must be able to work well with students, faculty, staff and the community
- Ability to work a flexible schedule that may include evening and weekend assignments
