Make a real difference in someone’s life!

Elara Caring, one of the nation’s largest providers of home-based care, is looking for compassionate volunteers willing to donate their time to provide exceptional end-of-life care to local hospice patients and their families.

At end-of-life, many hospice patients are uncomfortable having their photos taken. They want their loved ones to remember them in earlier years, not what they looked like in their later life stages. Because many families still want to capture moments with their loved ones at end of life, Elara Caring created the Holding Hands Forever program. This program, which gives families a portrait of their own hands holding the hands of their loved ones, is a beautiful and dignified way to commemorate those last memories in a positive light.
