Role Summary:

Stord is seeking an accomplished Video Producer who will play a critical role as a member of the Marketing Content Team in defining Stord as the leader in the ecommerce market as a commerce enabler as well as establishing Stord as the preeminent voice in the space.

The ideal candidate will bring an experienced background in video production from pre-production through post - including filming, lighting, audio, interviewing, editing, casting and more to help shape Stord's creative storytelling. You will help establish Stord's video-based content strategy and content network - producing Stord's weekly podcast(s), social videos, informational video series, announcement videos, case studies, product videos, sales assets, warehouse tours, ads, and more.

This is a high-impact, cross-functional role requiring strategic thinking, excellent time management, polished communication skills and the ability to create clear positioning and valuable insights across multiple mediums. You'll work closely with Brand, Product Marketing, Demand Gen, Comms, and Customer Marketing.

Key Functions and Responsibilities

  • Pre-production
    • Translate business goals into clear creative briefs, scripts, and shot lists; propose formats and hooks for different channels.
    • Build production plans, budgets, and timelines; book locations, crews, and equipment rentals as needed.
    • Coordinate customer and internal stakeholders; obtain location use, talent releases, and legal approvals (as relevant).
    • Prepare podcast rundowns, studio setup, interview questions (with content team), and teleprompter scripts.
  • Production (on-site and in-studio)
    • Direct and shoot interviews, narrative scenes, and product/operational footage (multi-cam when needed).
    • Light efficiently (e.g., three-point, practicals, motivated light) and capture clean location sound (lav/shotgun/recorder).
    • Film in active warehouse environments while following all safety protocols.
    • Capture versatile b-roll to build a reusable library; maintain continuity for series formats.
    • Operate gimbals/sliders; manage media, backups, and timecode on set.
  • Post-production
    • Partner with the editing team to create long-form and short-form pieces for 16:9, 1:1, and 9:16; build social-first versions with strong openers.
    • Mix and master audio; color-correct/grade; add branded motion graphics, lower thirds, callouts, and captions/SRTs.
    • Deliver ad variants (A/B hooks, lengths, CTAs) tailored to channels (YouTube, LinkedIn, Meta/TikTok, programmatic).
    • Produce video podcasts (video + audio), including intros/outros, chaptering, and show-notes drafts.
    • Manage review cycles in Frame.io (or similar) and deliver on time to agreed SLAs.
  • Content operations
    • Maintain an organized asset library/DAM with consistent tagging and usage rights.
    • Track performance with Marketing (watch time, completion rate, CTR, view-through rate, engagement, assisted pipeline).
    • Build repeatable templates for intros, outros, supers, and brand-safe transitions.
    • Source and manage freelancers (2nd shooter, sound, motion) when scope requires.
Experience and Competencies
  • 4-7+ years professional experience as a videographer, producer, or editor in B2B, agency, or in-house brand settings.
  • Strong portfolio across case studies, announcements, podcasts, explainers, social ads, and b-roll-please include 3-5 examples.
  • Proven skill with cameras (mirrorless/cinema), lenses, lighting, and location audio; confident directing non-actors.
  • Advanced editing in Adobe Premiere Pro (or Resolve), motion graphics in After Effects, audio in Audition (or Resolve/Fairlight).
  • Comfortable building for platform specifics (hooks under 3 seconds, subtitles, safe areas, aspect ratios, length caps).
  • Clear project management and communication; able to set timelines, manage reviews, and keep stakeholders aligned.
  • Familiarity with filming in industrial/warehouse environments and following safety requirements.
  • Nice to have: drone/Part 107, studio lighting design, livestream experience, product UI capture.
Logistical Requirements
  • Comfortable with regular travel to customer sites, warehouses, studios, and events (mostly domestic).
  • Comfortable lifting/carry up to 40 lbs, standing for extended periods, moving gear safely on-site.
  • Occasional early/late shoots to match facility/customer availability.
