Create Now is hiring: Volunteer Artist Wanted! in Los Angeles

Create Now is looking for volunteer artists to lead art workshops at our partner agencies across Los Angeles, including homeless shelters, foster care facilities, and mental health clinics.

We work with our volunteer teaching artists to identify:

• The medium they would like to teach
• The age range and demographic they’d like to serve
• Locations that work best for their commute

From there, we help artists create lesson plans, giving them full creative control over the workshops they lead. Our program is flexible, volunteers typically meet once a week for 1-hour sessions, scheduled around their availability. Once lesson plans are finalized, we place artists with one of our partner agencies. Create Now provides all materials and supports artists throughout the process.
