Job Title: Production Expeditor
MINIMUM 6 MONTHS OF RECENT
EXPERIENCE
Connect Staffing is seeking a Production Expeditor for a faucet manufacturing facility in Huntington Beach, CA.
Schedule:
M-F 2:15PM -11PM
Requirements for the Production Expeditor: Minimum 6 months of recent production, warehouse, or material-handling experience.
Strong adaptability and flexibility when encountering problems.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with operations and customer service teams.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to follow instructions and comply with all safety regulations, including PPE use.
Ability to match part numbers and locations accurately when picking and putting away parts.
Ability to take verbal direction and work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Proficient computer skills and the ability to learn and navigate an ERP system.
Comfortable working around moderate noise, dust, heat, or cold.
Prior experience in roles such as Production Assistant, Material Handler, Expeditor, Inventory Clerk, Warehouse Associate, Production
Control Assistant, or Manufacturing Support Associate is a plus!

Responsibilities of the Production Expeditor: Communicate between operations and customer service to address manufacturing or supply chain issues.
Expedite priority orders to ensure on-time delivery and meet customer commitments.
Physically locate products in process and move them through the factory as required.
Verify that expedited orders meet their committed ship dates.
Interact with management to assess material needs and address barriers to production flow.
Investigate production delays using the ERP system and communication with cross-functional teams.
Pick parts for work orders, ensuring accuracy in part type and quantity.
Transport work orders to appropriate staging areas.
Complete accurate inventory transactions in the ERP system.
Perform additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
