SHE'S MY DAUGHTER is hiring: Branding Designer / Style Guide Creator in Washingt
SHE'S MY DAUGHTER, Washington, DC, US, 20022
Our organization is seeking someone to develop a branding style for our clothing line called WeeBeeFree which will be "fashion's megaphone for muted voices". Proceeds from the sale will go towards helping fund the recovery of human trafficking victims.
Mission Statement
Our mission is to amply the voices of people affected by human trafficking using apparel as a medium of communication, awareness, change, and reform. In doing so, we aim to reach our goals using three streams: providing employment opportunities to survivors of human trafficking to rebuild their lives, raising awareness of an atrocity often ignored, and offer our customers a chance to assist the exploited individuals in emerging stronger than ever.
Vision
To help create a world where women can move about without fear of violence.
About Us
We Bee Free is an apparel brand with an inherent goal to bring the plight of human trafficking to light through awareness and education. Using fashion as our channel, we hope to change lives affected by human trafficking while raising the issue on a large-scale level to give it the attention it direly needs.
Our designs are created by Gen Z graphic artists and survivors of human trafficking. Hiring artists from all over the world, we provide a platform to new talents for scaling their businesses while being a beacon of hope for those in need. Every purchase you make from Wee Bee Free helps a marginalized individual get closer to their dream of being self-sufficient. All in all, we are on a mission to make the world kinder - one outfit at a time.
Core Values
At Wee Bee Free, every action we take is in accordance with our core values.
- Generosity
We believe that a portion of everything we have been given is endowed to us to be given away.
- Self-Actualization
It’s only with self-realization that one finds their voice. We aspire to go the extra mile for exploited individuals and help them in their journey of actualization.
- Fashion-Inspired Reform
We believe that fashion should not be limited to runways and mannequins. Instead, we intend to harness the power of fashion as a megaphone for muted voices of the survivors of human trafficking.
