A well-established landscaping company is seeking a talented Landscape Designer or Landscape Architect to join their growing team. This role will be responsible for designing residential and commercial landscapes, developing detailed plans, assisting with proposals, and supporting operations throughout project execution.
The company strongly prefers a licensed candidate (Landscape Architect License), but is open to evaluating high-talent designers who are not yet licensed.

A well-established landscaping company is seeking a talented Landscape Designer or Landscape Architect to join their growing team. This role will be responsible for designing residential and commercial landscapes, developing detailed plans, assisting with proposals, and supporting operations throughout project execution.
The company strongly prefers a licensed candidate (Landscape Architect License), but is open to evaluating high-talent designers who are not yet licensed.
Key Responsibilities
- Create landscape designs, site plans, planting plans, and hardscape layouts for residential and commercial clients
- Develop 2D/3D renderings, conceptual drawings, and construction documents
- Meet with clients, conduct onsite walk-throughs, and gather project requirements
- Collaborate with sales, estimators, project managers, and production crews
- Produce accurate material lists, measurements, and project specifications
- Ensure designs comply with local regulations, drainage requirements, and best practices
- Incorporate sustainable and functional design principles
- Present designs to clients and assist in proposal development
- Support production teams during installation to ensure design intent is met
- Preferred: Licensed Landscape Architect (LLA)
- Acceptable: Experienced Landscape Designer actively pursuing licensure or with strong portfolio
- Proficiency with design software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, Vectorworks, Lumion, or similar)
- Strong understanding of plants, soils, irrigation, grading, and construction materials
- Excellent communication and client-facing skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
- Valid driver's license; ability to conduct site visits
- Landscape Architect (licensed or in-progress)
- Landscape Designer with construction and horticulture knowledge
- Hardscape design specialist
- Irrigation design experience a plus
- Experience in high-end residential design or commercial landscape design
