The Friday Memorial Library is seeking applicants for a Youth Services Librarian. We are seeking applicants who are passionate about serving the children and families in our community, knowledgeable about library services, and excited about providing exceptional customer service and community engagement.
This full-time position is responsible for providing a welcoming environment for children, teens, families, and caregivers in the use of library services, facilities and equipment. The Youth Services Librarian is part of the library leadership team and works both independently and as a collaborative part of a team.
Candidates must have the ability to work enthusiastically and effectively with children, teenagers, and adults in the library and community. A bachelor's degree and a minimum of 2 years’ experience serving or working with youth is required. Full position details are available online at the City Website www.newrichmondwi.gov.
A range of daytime and evening hours with rotating Saturday hours is required for this position. The pay range for the position is $28.66 – 39.30 per hour. The anticipating starting pay for the position is between $28.66 – 32.75 per hour and will be determined based upon experience and qualifications.
