General Summary:

The Low Voltage & Video Security Technician is responsible for the assembly, deployment, and maintenance of advanced video security trailers and systems. This role includes hands-on work with low-voltage wiring, mechanical assembly, and field service. The technician will support the manufacturing and deployment of Pyramid's SiteGuard trailers and other mobile surveillance solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

General:
  • Assemble and wire security trailers per engineering specifications.
  • Deploy, service, and maintain trailers in the field.
  • Perform system checks and troubleshoot deployed units.
  • Maintain organized inventory of parts, tools, and hardware.
  • Order materials and components for trailer builds.
  • Read and interpret wiring diagrams and technical drawings.
  • Ensure safe and efficient use of power tools and equipment.
  • Support logistics and field operations as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Required
  • Proficiency with power tools and safe operation practices
  • Ability to lift 60 lbs. overhead safely and with control
  • Strong attention to detail; ability to read and markup wiring diagrams
  • Highly Preferred
  • Experience with DC power systems
  • Experience with IP networking and device configuration
  • Experience towing trailers
  • Fabrication or light mechanical assembly experience
  • Preferred Certifications
  • Low-voltage or DC power systems certifications
  • Avigilon equipment or equivalent security system certifications

An equivalent combination of education and experience which provides proficiency in the areas of responsibility listed above may be substituted for the above education and experience requirements.

Travel/Time Commitment:
