This is a pool position. Hours will not be consistent from week to week. Student workers will be assigned individual photoshoots as they fit with their schedules and the needs of the Marketing and Communications Department.

Job Summary/Basic Function
Marketing & Communications at Weber State University seeks a junior or senior student majoring in digital media, multimedia journalism, film studies, visual arts or another photo/video-related field to assist the department's videographer and photographer. This position covers both photography and videography, but will focus more heavily on photography. This experience can count as a paid internship.
Responsibilities include:
Working with department videographer and photographer to produce quality media products.
Assist on photo and video shoots.
Photographing events and daily life at Weber State.
Supporting the department in producing media that shares WSU success stories.
Other office duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
Applicants should be creative and have strong communication skills; possess good work habits and can assist with multiple projects at a time; have familiarity with pre- and post-production work.
Preferred Qualifications
We are seeking applicants who can represent the university in a professional manner; have a willingness to take direction; have familiarity with cameras, lighting, audio equipment, editing and interviewing; have the desire convey stories through videos and photos.
