Visual Arts Teacher (K-12)

Key Responsibilities:

Instruction and Curriculum Development:
  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons in visual arts, covering a range of techniques and mediums (e.g., painting, drawing, sculpture, digital art, photography).
  • Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum aligned with state and district standards.
  • Create lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles and needs.
Student Assessment and Evaluation:

  • Prepare and maintain accurate records of student work and performance.
Classroom Management and Environment:

Qualifications and Requirements:
  • Education:

    • New Jersey teaching certificate with appropriate endorsement in Art Education.

    • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills.
    • Ability to create and implement engaging lesson plans.
    • Passion for art and a commitment to fostering creativity in students.
  • Experience:
    • Prior teaching experience in visual arts is preferred.
