Position Overview

Teaching undergraduate courses in Fundamentals of Speech (Public Speaking).

Adjunct faculty members teach classes, advise and mentor students, evaluate student performance, and maintain student records in accordance with university policies.

Adjunct faculty members work in a collaborative manner with full‑ and part‑time colleagues and adhere to all of the policies and procedures outlined in the UCO Faculty and Employee Handbooks.

Qualifications / Experience Required

• Possesses at least a master's degree in the field specified in the position announcement (exceptions require Academic Affairs approval).
• Possesses excellent communication, problem‑solving, and organizational skills.

Qualifications / Experience Preferred

• Experience in teaching public speaking or related courses at the secondary or university level.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

• Previous teaching experience preferred.
• Willingness to learn specific technology is required.
