is seeking a friendly, motivated, and detail-oriented

Customer Service Representative (CSR) & Marketing Coordinator

to join our growing team in the heart of Philadelphia.

This hybrid role is approximately

80% client service and 20% marketing/outreach , ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, service-driven environment but also enjoys helping to grow our hospital's community presence and referral network over time.

2nd Street Animal Hospital is a

state-of-the-art, AAHA-accredited

facility offering advanced surgical care, avian and exotic medicine, and comprehensive diagnostic imaging. Our mission is simple: to provide compassionate, high-quality care to pets and peace of mind to the people who love them.

What You'll Do:

Client Service (Primary - 80%) Serve as a welcoming, professional first point of contact for clients-in person, by phone, and via email Schedule appointments, manage patient check-ins/outs, and process payments with accuracy and care Assist with communication between clients, referring veterinarians, and our medical team Support specialty and referral cases by ensuring efficient scheduling and seamless communication Maintain a calm, empathetic demeanor in a fast-paced environment Uphold our client experience standards through teamwork, kindness, and attention to detail Marketing, Outreach & Referral Coordination (Secondary - 20%)

Assist in creating and posting engaging social media content that showcases our services, team, and hospital culture Support local outreach, including events, client education initiatives, and partnerships with pet-related businesses Help design and distribute marketing materials, both digital and print Manage online reputation by responding to reviews and comments with professionalism Collaborate with leadership to build and maintain relationships with referring veterinary practices Over time,

grow into a referral coordination role -tracking referral cases, maintaining communication with partner hospitals, and supporting continuing education or community events You're a Great Fit If You:

Have prior

customer service experience

(veterinary, medical, or hospitality preferred) Are

organized, compassionate, and an excellent communicator Feel comfortable multitasking and staying calm under pressure Love animals and enjoy interacting with both pets and people Have an interest or light experience in

marketing, outreach, or social media Are eager to

learn and expand

into a community/liaison role over time Bonus Points

Experience in a veterinary or animal care setting Familiarity with Canva, Instagram, or other marketing tools Knowledge of veterinary practice management systems (e.g., ezyVet) Graphic design, photography, or content creation skills Prior experience in referral coordination or veterinary outreach Benefits
