About The Position:
Expected to begin Fall 2026, this position will be responsible for teaching a variety of courses in two-dimensional areas, both analog and digital approaches in drawing, illustration, and painting. Undergraduate courses would include, but are not limited to, all levels of Drawing, digital and traditional Painting, Illustration and 2D Design. As an integral part of the faculty, the successful candidate will also collaborate with other faculty on curriculum updates, particularly those in graphic design to further develop digital courses, participate in department meetings, and provide service to the institution, such as student advising. The successful candidate may be asked to teach courses in a distance learning format. The mentoring of students in the successful applicant's area of expertise to prepare them for exhibition is also included. The

Required Qualifications: Master's degree Teaching experience Ability to provide high-quality teaching and academic service Knowledge and ability to deliver a wide variety of Art and Design courses effectively Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills A demonstrated ability to work effectively and collegially with faculty, staff and administrators Preferred Qualifications:
MFA or above in studio arts Demonstrated excellence in undergraduate college instruction Experience teaching online
