Description of the Position: (Purpose of the Position):
The Teaching Assistant for Art 205 will assist with maintaining the photography studio and lab, helping students with technical questions during class, and setting up/cleaning up photo demonstrations.
Transferable Skills: Maintenance of an art studio Working independently Adaptability Troubleshooting printing/developing issues with students Clearly communicating and collaborating with a supervisor Peer leadership Attention to detail Duties and Responsibilities:
Assisting with photography/printing demonstrations
Setting up
• Assisting during
• Cleaning up
Helping to keep the studio clean and stocked
Refilling solutions
• Cleaning surfaces and tools as needed
• Tidying the studio before and after class
Answering student technical questions Qualifications: (Education/Experience/Skills)
Student has taken Art 205 previously Student is organized, punctual, and reliable Student is skilled at clear communication Student has the ability to work independently
