Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled
Instructional Designer
to design, develop, and maintain engaging learning materials that support all departments within
Risk Operations . The ideal candidate will bring creativity, organization, and deep knowledge of adult learning principles to build impactful learning experiences. This role involves close collaboration with internal stakeholders, project management across multiple initiatives, and continuous improvement of learning programs based on data and feedback.
Scope & Responsibilities
Design and Develop Learning Materials Design, develop, and maintain comprehensive learning programs and materials supporting Risk Operations departments. Ensure all content aligns with company brand guidelines to provide a consistent and cohesive learner experience. Recommend and implement training solutions that address business needs and performance gaps. Create content suitable for both digital and in-person delivery, supporting future trainer-led sessions. Stakeholder Management
Partner with department stakeholders to define learning goals, objectives, and success metrics. Build strong working relationships across teams to ensure alignment with operational priorities and timelines. Project Management
Manage multiple instructional design projects simultaneously while maintaining clear priorities and timelines. Collaborate with teammates and subject matter experts (SMEs) to deliver high-quality training materials on schedule. Measurement & Reporting
Track and report on key learning metrics, learner engagement, and training effectiveness. Use learner feedback and performance data to continuously refine and improve learning programs. Autonomy
Manage projects independently with initiative and accountability. Use effective tools and communication to ensure project success with minimal supervision. Facilitate or deliver training sessions as needed. Collaboration & Teamwork
Share best practices to enhance the overall learning and development capability within Risk Operations. Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to align learning objectives with business priorities. Contribute to scalable design templates, tools, and processes to streamline content creation. Knowledge & Experience
Partner with SMEs to translate complex or technical content into structured, engaging, and easy-to-understand learning experiences. Design clear learning objectives, assessments, and activities that support skill development and behavioral change. Apply adult learning principles and instructional design models such as
ADDIE
and
SAM . Evaluate training requests to ensure alignment with business needs and value to Risk Operations. Maintain awareness of operational goals, performance metrics, and compliance priorities. Design programs that close skill and knowledge gaps while driving confidence, competence, and performance. Qualifications & Required Skills
