Position Title: Assistant Professor of Communication Sciences and Disorders - Speech-Language Pathology

Job Duties:

This tenure-track position is 9 months full-time with possible summer appointment. The responsibilities associated with this in-person faculty position include: teaching undergraduate and graduate courses; supervising students in clinical practicum placements; engaging in research and scholarship activities; engaging in service to the department, university and profession; and promoting and supporting the university's mission, vision, and values. All areas of expertise will be considered; preferred areas are phonology and autism. Some travel is expected when workload assignments include serving as a liaison for students registered for off-campus practicum and/or the externship.

Required Qualifications: Ph.D. or Ed.D. in Speech-Language Pathology or related field. Doctorate or ABD required for faculty rank Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) Eligible for or has Wisconsin state licensure in speech-language pathology Good interpersonal skills Good oral and written communication skills Effective team member Preferred Qualifications:

Academic course teaching and clinical teaching/supervision experience

Terms of Employment:

This is a tenure-track, academic year faculty position.
